We have known Danny (Donovan) for the better part of 20 years. He was introduced to us by some of our greatest friend with whom he enjoyed the relationship similar to the one he built with our family.
In the initial encounter Danny worked with us as a painter and decorator but he rapidly evolved into a quasi member of the family who became involved in the gamut of family activities - nanny, counsellor, cook, housekeeper, driver and most of all family friend.
Danny is a first-class handyman who can turn his hand to virtually any task. His work as a carpenter and painter is both skilful and durable and he needs only outline guidance to complete a task. He has boundless energy and initiative and remains focused on the task. He is practical and an effective project manager of his tasks. He is fair and honest and there is nothing with which we would not trust him.
Danny is one of a very small handful of people to whom we have entrusted our children (from when they were toddlers) and our house. Danny is a key holder, holds a code for the alarm and is a frequent overnight guest. He is relentlessly helpful - frequently making himself available at short notice if we have a crisis and always being spontaneous and cheerful. Our four girls are now late teenagers and each regards Danny s a member of our extended family.
Our family life would have been immeasurably poorer without Danny.

The quality of his workmanship is excllent and his initiative always enales you to leave him to his own device, knowing that everything will be done by when he said it would be done. Most importantly, he is totally trustworthy and professional in his approach to anything asked of him, and his resourcefulness will always solve any unforseen problems - even in French!
